Robert
Friškovec, Mediator, Trainer, Prisoner's
vicar, Founder of the Center ECCE HOMO As
a prisoner vicar his work is not limited strictly
on work with people who are imprisoned, but is
widened to all groups of people, which are anyhow
connected with the word prison: prisoners,
victims, families of prisoners, workers at the
prison, volunteers, people who came out of
prison, Slovenes who are imprisoned in other
prisons around the world and also to the sphere
of restorative justice (which also includes
victim offender mediation). Diversity and
colouring of these groups and many of those
conflicts, which are related to these groups, led
him to mediation. In the year of 2007 he
participated in basic training for mediators at
The Rakmo Institute, acquired the title mediator
and later continued education for trainers. At
work he is in touch especially with family
mediation and victim offender mediation. He
participated and collaborated in many conferences
within the framework of restorative justice and
is a member of the Council of Experts by the
association of mediative organizations of
Slovenia-Medios.
